The members originally came together with the intention of forming a hardcore band, but they mixed their individual musical tastes in shoegaze, emo, and other genres to create Milledenials' uniquely original music. Their music is based on a fast-paced, punkish, and pop-infused sound, while also incorporating emo revival-esque melodies, a floating, shoegaze-inspired guitar sound, and deep vocals to create a cohesive musical experience. The amount of information packed into their music is perfectly interwoven, which might seem overwhelming when described in words. It's fascinating that a band like this emerges from Bali, a place completely devoid of any "punk" image. The record being released this time includes their debut EP "5 Stages of Doomed Romance" and their 2nd EP "The Peak of Youth Life" on Side A and B, featuring the band's signature song "Precious Me," which has been streamed over a million times, as well as "Deny, Denial," which features a pop-punk-worthy 2-beat rhythm, guitar sounds reminiscent of indie pop, and shoegaze vocals.
