Product Introduction: Lucid Express, the Hong Kong shoegaze/dream pop band active from Asia to America, has released their long-awaited 2nd album, "Instant Comfort"! They are also scheduled to perform in Japan at "BiKN" on November 30th! Lucid Express, the Hong Kong-based shoegaze/dream pop band active worldwide, has announced the release of their 2nd album, "Instant Comfort"! Formed in 2014, Lucid Express is a leading Hong Kong indie band that has achieved numerous successes not only in Asian performances, including tours in Japan, but also in UK/US tours. Since the release of their debut album "Lucid Express" in 2021, their momentum has only increased, and this year they not only successfully completed a US tour with Letting Up Despite Great Faults, but also expanded their field of activity by being the only Asian band to perform at the newly launched shoegaze festival "SLIDE AWAY" in LA/NYC, alongside bands such as The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Nothing, and Her New Knife. "Instant Comfort," their first album release in approximately five years, features a range of tracks, from the dreamy and beautiful roaring sound of "Something Blue," which is envelopingly gentle, to "Setback," which combines the heavy and fuzzy sound of the 90s with a catchy melody reminiscent of guitar pop, and the fiercely punchy shoegaze track "Aster." Starting with "Promise Me," which will undoubtedly appeal to 90s shoegaze fans, and concluding with the title track "Instant Comfort," the album shows a wide range of influences from shoegaze, dream pop, and alternative rock to indie pop and guitar pop, but ultimately lands as a superb album that is "classic."
