It is rumored that only 89 copies were produced (50 by the band and 39 by the label), making this extremely rare item finally available on LP and CD. In addition to early versions of songs that would later be included on their 1st to 3rd albums, such as "Burning Farm," "Banana Leaf," and "Summertime Boogie," this is a true treasure trove that also includes songs that can only be heard on this work. Following this, their 1st album "Burning Farm," released in 1983 by Zero Records, was later released on cassette (1985) by K Records, run by US indie legend Calvin Johnson. Kurt Cobain, who likely got his hands on it, was so impressed that he selected Shonen Knife as the opening act for Nirvana's UK tour, leading to their global success.
