Paledusk, a rock band that has garnered attention from around the world for its unprecedented alternative sound, makes their major debut from the A.S.A.B label, and their first single is "HUGs," the opening theme song for the TV anime "Gachi Ata." This song was written at the direct request of the original "Gachi Ata" authors, Kei Uranai and Hideyoshi Ando, ??and is a magnificent rock number that fully showcases the Paledusk sound and is perfectly linked to the worldview of the original work. "Gachi Ata" is a battle action series starring Rudo, an orphaned boy born in a slum inhabited by the descendants of criminals. Written by Kei Urana and graffiti designed by Hideyoshi Ando, ??it began serialization in Kodansha's "Weekly Shonen Magazine" in February 2022, and the anime will begin airing on July 6th (Sunday) at 23:30 on the CBC/TBS network of 28 stations nationwide. "HUGs" will be released digitally on July 28th, followed by a CD release on September 17th containing four songs, including a TV size version. The CD will be available in two versions: a limited first-edition deluxe version and a regular version.
