'Crimson Red' is a genuine free jazz work born from an "extremely modern production process," centered around a session between Japanese drummer Yasunori Miyazaki and saxophonist Akano Shibahito, with remote overdubbing by California-based guitarist Max Devereaux. Through repeated back-and-forth exchanges and revisions of sound sources between Kyoto and California from 2024 to 2025, the performances, refined to a precision approaching physical reflexes, possess a tension equivalent to simultaneous improvisation. The four tracks are structured as a continuous narrative of "destruction and creation"?"meteorite impact ?�N crimson lava-like chaos ?�N generation of black soil ?�N liberation of life"?with drum strikes, saxophone choral transformations, and guitar spatial cutting vividly depicting a vision of scorching heat and creation.
