A work that expands the range of sound by incorporating various elements based on heavy drone (Original release: 2002) Bonus Disc: SUNN O))) with MERZBOW at Earthdom, Tokyo 2007 Released in 2002, this work, while based on heavy drone, also shows signs of experimentation by introducing synthesizers and percussion, and is a turning point that will surely broaden the worldview and lay the groundwork for later works. Two tracks were mixed by MERZBOW/Masami Akita, which attracted attention. Includes a METALLICA cover that completely deconstructs the original song. The bonus track is a live recording made at Earthdom in Tokyo during their visit to Japan in May of this year. MERZBOW/Masami Akita mixed the material recorded on 24-channel multi-track. Although it was the smallest venue of this visit, they brought all their equipment, including 10 amplifiers, and the sound pressure in the enclosed space was so intense that listeners felt as if they were facing death, and the sound is vividly revived. This is arguably the highlight of this expanded 2CD edition series.
