Product Description
Introduction: A serene beauty reminiscent of Judee Sill, Vashti Bunyan, and Jessica Pratt. Belgian singer-songwriter Catbug reaches a new level with her latest work. While retaining her signature songs spun from a gaze towards nature and a sense of everyday life, this masterpiece reflects deeper emotional fluctuations than ever before. Following her previous work, "Musjemeesje," which depicted a deep love for nature, Catbug ventures into new territory with her new album, "Ik was ons kwijt in mij." This ambitious work depicts a more introspective and profound world, focusing on themes of loss and sadness born from a self-chosen separation, and the rebirth that follows. While retaining her gentle folk sound, she has ventured into more delicate and emotionally rich expression, making this a new representative work for Catbug. 01.Vrij, blijvend02.Dat wat je zorgen baart03.Fluitekruid04.Mijn lief en ik05.Lelie op het water06.Vlieger in de wolken07.Traan langs het raam08.Dagpauwoog09.23:23 Media Reviews and Others A long-awaited new album for 2026, woven with a deep gaze towards nature and a warm singing voice.
