Product Description
Introduction Formed in Denver, Colorado in 2011. While following the style of the earliest death metal perfected in the early 90s by bands like Morbid Angel and Death, they update it to be more technical and modern. Including their intellectual approach that deals with themes of space, mythology, and science fiction, they generated a lot of buzz in the underground scene from the demo stage as a must-watch act. Their first album, "Starspawn" (2016), solidified their reputation, and their second album, "Hidden History Of The Human Race" (2019), received high praise not only from metal media but also from general music publications, and recorded good sales. Their most recent EP, "Timewave Zero" (2022), is entirely woven with synths and acoustics, boasting a high level of perfection with a progressive rock style, but many fans felt a touch of anxiety, as it was seen as a complete departure from metal. However, this was part of the experimentation leading up to their new album. This album, whose title is borrowed from a 70s group featuring Bill Bruford (YES/KING CRIMSON, etc.) and other prog virtuosos, consists of two epic tracks, each a suite of three songs. It blends BI's signature technical riffs, double-bass drumming, growls, and driving melodies with cosmic loops and melodic synths, creating an indescribable grandeur. The compositional beauty and the dynamic development of the second half are breathtaking. The Japanese edition is a two-disc set with a bonus disc, and includes the first-ever CD release of the 'Luminescent Bridge' EP, previously only available on limited-edition vinyl and sold out instantly. A prototype for 'Absolute Elsewhere,' this valuable work complements the main album with its aggressiveness and meticulousness, making it highly rare. Tracklist: Disc I 1. The Stargate [Tablet I] 2.
