Contents: The kings of gore metal have released their latest album! The Japanese edition includes bonus tracks featuring material never before released on CD worldwide!! A band known as pioneers of gore metal, which moved in a more brutal direction from death metal. Formed in 1990 by Matt Harvey, then 15 years old, they were heavily influenced by CARCASS and REPULSION as they explored their own sound. Blending death metal and grindcore with exquisite skill, they created a style that is, in a sense, very catchy for metal, with an authentic verse-chorus-verse song structure, strong, sharp riffs, and technical skill in combining them with fluid guitar solos. Immediately after their formation, they released a tremendous number of demo recordings and split albums, and since their first full album in 1998, they have released eight albums, with a period of inactivity in between. In recent years, they have been thrilling fans with their sharper playing and musicality that is even closer to grindcore. This latest album, their first in three years, is described by leader Matt Harvey as "EXHUMED's ultimate culmination." It summarizes their career to date while refining their riffs, far exceeding expectations. The Japanese edition will include five bonus tracks. This album features all tracks from the 'Worming' EP, which was previously released only on vinyl and digitally, as well as a brand new track that was included on a flexi disc that came as a supplement to the US metal magazine 'Decibel'. All of these are highly rare tracks, and this is the first time they've been released on CD worldwide! Tracklist: 1. Putrescine and Cadaverine 2. Drained of Color 3. Carbonized 4. Rank and Defiled 5.
