Contents Introduction Six major works by Grobschnitt, a band that, alongside Novalis, represents 70s German symphonic rock, are being reissued all at once in 2022 with the latest remastering and the world's first paper sleeve CD format! Formed in 1970, centered around Erock (drums), who is now active as a producer/engineer, Grobschnitt disbanded in the late 1980s but reformed in the late 2000s. Six works from their 1972 debut to their 1979 album are being reissued on the world's first paper sleeve CD format with the latest remastering in 2022! This work, like the previous two, is an original concept album released in 1979. With the theme of "amusement park = utopia," it is a cynical concept album that depicts "social problems lurking behind utopia," as can be seen from the titles of the songs. This album showcases the band's signature sense of humor, evident throughout, and skillfully blends it with their symphonic rock direction from 1975 onwards, resulting in a colorful and dramatic sonic world. Bonus tracks include four live recordings from 1978-79 and a session remix of "Merry-Go-Round."
