In April 1977, at the Tokyo Harumi International Exhibition Center, young people from Japan, America, and Canada organized the "THE SEAS MUST LIVE" event. Approximately 80 musicians from 30 groups, including those from Japan, America, and other countries, performed free of charge, and a total of 15,000 spectators attended over three days. This was Japan's first benefit concert, the "Rolling Coconut Revue Japan." Recorded on 16-channel multi-tape, the master recording miraculously survived, has been mixed and mastered for the first time in 40 years. This release couples the performances of Odetta, the legendary "Queen of American Folk Music," from the opening show on April 8th, the first day of the event, and Mimi Farinha, who appeared in the morning show on the final day, April 10th, offering a true taste of American folk music.
