Content Introduction The enigmatic pop unit Uchuu Nekoko, who have garnered attention for their collaborations with Lovely Summer-chan and split releases with Izumi Makura, have completed their 2nd album, "If I Could Live Like You," returning to their alternative rock roots! In 2014, they released a collaborative single with Lovely Summer-chan, and in 2016, they released their 1st album, "Hibi no Awa," featuring numerous guests including Lovely Summer-chan, Irie Yo, and tsvaci. Since then, they have continued to attract attention with their wide range of collaborations and active work, including EPs featuring Enjoy Music Club and a split 7-inch with Izumi Makura. Their long-awaited 2nd album, "If I Could Live Like You," is their first album in about two and a half years, and their first since kano joined the band! While their recent city-pop-style numbers have also been highly praised, this album marks a return to alternative rock, strongly showcasing Uchuu Nekoko's "band" side. The charm of their poignant and beautiful songs reaches listeners directly and resonates with them. The engineer for this project is Kosuke Nakamura, who has worked with many up-and-coming artists such as Yo Irie, Yuta Orisaka, TAMTAM, Taiko Super Kicks, and Honjitsu Kyuen. The band's sound dynamics, which sometimes even feature unconventional tunings reminiscent of Sonic Youth, are vividly conveyed, while their characteristic sense of weightlessness and transparency has been further refined. The jacket illustration is by Tomoko Oshima, an illustrator and video artist known as the author of the manga "Secchan," who has garnered overwhelming support for her delicate illustrations of girls. About the Artist: Uchuu Nekoko Profile: An alternative pop unit consisting of nemuko yamanaka (G. Key) and kano (Vo. Key). All image illustrations are handled by Tomoko Oshima. They gained attention with their 8cm single "Uchuu Nekoko to Lovely Summer-chan," a collaboration with Lovely Summer-chan, released in 2014, and debuted in 2016 with the album "Hibi no Awa." In 2017, kano joined as vocalist, and they released the single "Night Cruising Love / parks," which featured collaborations with Yo Irie and Enjoy Music Club.
