To commemorate the 100th anniversary of his birth, the hit series "24 bit by RVG" is being reissued. Starting in 1998, he began digitally remastering his own Blue Note recordings, reviving the innovative Blue Note sound for the CD era. This time, 30 rare records that have not been reissued in Japan in recent years have been carefully selected and reissued in SHM-CD format. This is the debut leader album of popular organist John Patton, who left many recordings for Blue Note in the 1960s. A soulful lineup with organ trio joined by R&B tenor saxophonists Fred Jackson and Harold Vic. The album features passionate, blues-based performances, including "The Silver Meter," written by drummer Ben Dixon.
