Product Description
Contents: [Gatefold Paper Jacket Specification] [2SHM-CDs] ?EIncludes new Japanese liner notes for 2025. This is the first time the stereo soundboard recording of the Japan tour, a crucial lineup in King Crimson history that defined the double-trio live style, has been renewed in SHM-CD format, paper jacket specification, and 2025 Japan remaster specification! The 10th installment, the Omiya performance, is a highlight, with its stark contrast between the wildly chaotic first half and the encore section that is quintessential King Crimson and guaranteed to satisfy! The Japan tour in October 1995 was a crucial period in the live activities of King Crimson, a rule-breaking six-member group that debuted with the album "Slack," and which ended after only two years. The interactive video work "Deja Vroom," which is now out of print, was also produced from performances during this tour. The audio from the 1995 Japan tour, which consisted of 11 shows (6 in Tokyo and 5 in other regions), was released on regular CD in 2018. This time, however, it's divided into two series, the Tokyo and regional editions, and is an upgraded version featuring SHM-CD specifications and a gatefold paper jacket! This release includes five titles from the regional performances. While all performances feature stable soundboard audio, the inconsistent sound quality of the previous series has been corrected with a new 2024 remaster. This is the most turbulent performance recording of the entire '95 Japan tour! Looking at the entire tour that year, it's rare to see such a chaotic first half. Just when it seemed like it would end in disaster, they made a triumphant comeback with the presentation of the album "Slack," and the encore section, which ended with the change to "Larks' Tongues in Aspic Part II" from this day onward, is a cathartic and intense night! New Japanese commentary for the 2024 edition. Purchasers of all 5 regional titles will receive a T-shirt (Type B) application form. Applicable product numbers: POCS-2002/3, POCS-2004/5, POCS-2006/7, POCS-2008/9, POCS-2010/1. *Included only in the first shipment. *Please refer to the announcement flyer inside the product for application details and deadline.
