Product Description
Contents: [Gatefold Paper Jacket Specification] [2SHM-CDs] ?EIncludes new 2024 Japanese liner notes. This is the first time the stereo soundboard recording of the Japan tour, a crucial lineup in King Crimson history that defined the double-trio live style, has been renewed in SHM-CD format, paper jacket specification, and 2024 mastering! The first release is the audio from the first day of the tour, the performance at Shinjuku Kosei Nenkin Kaikan! The Japan tour in October 1995 was a crucial phase in the live activities of King Crimson, a rule-breaking six-member group that appeared with the album "Slack," and which ended after only two years. The interactive video work "Deja Vroom," which is now out of print, was also produced from performances during this tour. The 1995 Japan tour, which consisted of 11 shows in total (6 in Tokyo and 5 in other regions), was released on regular CD in 2018. This time, however, it's an upgraded version, divided into two series: Tokyo and other regions, featuring SHM-CD specifications and a gatefold paper jacket for the first time! While maintaining the stable sound quality of soundboard recordings for all shows, it's released with a new 2024 master that corrects the inconsistent sound quality of the previous series. This two-disc set contains Tokyo Show #1, following the Yokohama show, which was the first show of the second half of the tour after a long break. This is an important show where they quickly overcame the shortcomings of the turbulent Yokohama show after the break and showed cohesion in preparation for the TV recording that would become the basis for "Deja Vu Room" that was to follow shortly after. Tony Levin's masterful bass lines shine in this excellent performance! Includes new 2024 Japanese liner notes. [Bonus Item] Application form for a T-shirt (Type A) for purchasers of all 6 titles (included only in the first shipment) *Please refer to the announcement flyer inside the product for application details and deadlines.
