By utilizing the digital source he created for the analog reissue, the ultimate analog sound is achieved, faithfully reproducing the sound of the original master tapes as much as possible. This is a legendary album recorded during the heyday of the Jazz Messengers, featuring Lee Morgan and Wayne Shorter, but which remained unreleased for a long time. It consists of original compositions by Shorter, who served as music director, including the popular song "Ping Pong." Walter Davis Jr. participates on two tracks, replacing Bobby Timmons.
