It features the latest remastering by Kevin Gray, an engineer who has demonstrated his mastery in US Blue Note analog reissue series such as "Tone Poet" and "Classic Vinyl." By utilizing the digital source he created for the analog reissues, it achieves the ultimate analog sound, faithfully reproducing the sound of the original master tapes as much as possible. This is a quintet work by Blue Note's house pianist, Sonny Clark. It was not released at the time of recording and saw the light of day in 1979. The members are Art Blakey and other hard bop all-stars. Includes the representative original "Minor Meeting," also known from other famous performances on Time Label.
