By utilizing the digital source he created for the analog reissues, he has achieved the ultimate analog sound, faithfully reproducing the sound of the original master tapes as much as possible. Tina Brooks, the melancholic melody maker known for her contributions to Freddie Hubbard's "Open Sesame," presents the first of four leader recordings (three of which were unreleased at the time of recording) she made during her lifetime.
