Currently, this is the only release that allows you to fully enjoy nearly three hours of live performance featuring the lineup, including founding member and central figure of the group, Ray Collins (vocals). It includes many of the group's signature songs such as "Hungry Freaks, Daddy," "America Drinks and Goes Home," "Plastic People," "King Kong," and "Brown Shoes Don't Make It," which was performed live for the first time that day, as well as three tracks of improvisational performances titled "Whiskey Improvisations," and many other performances that encapsulate the charm of the Mothers at that time. This package allows you to relive a major event that was also attended by members of The Rolling Stones. Some tracks feature guest appearances by the eccentric Kim Fowley and the GTO's, who debuted under Zappa's production. While a few takes were used on albums such as "Uncle Meat" (1969), "Meat Right" (2016), and "ZAPPA (Original Soundtrack)" (2021), the majority of the tracks are completely unreleased, treasured recordings.
