Following the strong sales of the compilation album 'Hot Rocks' released the previous year, 'More Hot Rocks' was released in 1972 as a sequel, and now, 50 years after its initial release, it's being reissued as a CD in a paper sleeve. While 'Hot Rocks' was a best-of album compiling hit singles, this album includes previously unreleased tracks in the US such as "Come On," "Money," "Bye Bye Johnny," "I Can't Be Satisfied," and "Long Long While," as well as rare tracks for connoisseurs. It's truly a "hidden best-of" album. Despite its niche content, it sold 500,000 sets and reached a peak position of number 9 in the US. For this reissue, the LP that was sold as a limited item for Record Store Day 2022 has been reproduced in a paper sleeve size. In addition to the two inner sleeves that came with the original LP, a print set photographed by Gered Mankowitz is also included.
