This live album was released in 1975 after the band's breakup. Eddie Jobson handled the overdubs to compensate for shortcomings in the multi-track master for David Cross's performance parts. This is King Crimson's final work and a crucial encounter that became the starting point for the later-formed UK. Based on the June 28th Asbury Park performance from their June 1974 North American tour, which was King Crimson's last, the album uses the June 30th Providence performance audio only for "21st Century Schizoid Man." The 2013 40th Anniversary Stereo Mix, an expanded 10-track format, is used as the master. This will be the first release in SHM-CD format. The same master as the currently available paper jacket version will be released in a jewel case at a more affordable price as part of the basic catalog!
