"BLUE GIANT" (original story by Shinichi Ishizuka), a jazz manga that has sold over 9 million copies since its serialization began in 2013, is finally being made into a theatrical film (released nationwide on February 17, 2023). "BLUE GIANT" has been highly praised with numerous word-of-mouth comments calling it "a manga where you can hear the music," and the music in the film is handled by pianist Hiromi Uehara.
