[First Press Limited Edition] [SHM-CD Specification Only for Japan Edition] [Paper Sleeve] Rock icon KISS will release the next installment in their popular official live bootleg series [Off the Soundboard], 'Off the Soundboard: Live at Donington 1996', on June 10th. This latest album in KISS's live album series was recorded at the Monsters of Rock Festival held at Donington Park in England on August 17, 1996. 'Off the Soundboard: Live at Donington 1996' was recorded in the final year of the original run of the legendary music festival held annually at Donington Park in Leicestershire, England. The 17-song set featured energetic performances of KISS concert staples such as "Do You Love Me," "Shout It Out Loud," and "God of Thunder," as well as the title track from their 1976 album "Love Gun," which reached the US Top 5 and achieved multi-platinum status. KISS headlined the festival that day. This performance was also part of the long-awaited "Alive/Worldwide" reunion tour featuring Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss. For these reasons, "Off the Soundboard: Live at Donington 1996" is a first-class "sound memorabilia" that captures an important moment in the KISS story. KISS, globally acclaimed as one of the greatest live bands of all time, is also the creator of "Alive!," a universally recognized live album that achieved gold status in 1975 and reached number 9 on the US charts. [KISS - Off the Soundboard] is a series that captures the spectacular, over-the-top, and luxurious atmosphere of a KISS concert, carrying on the renowned legacy of their groundbreaking live albums. Known for their distinctive and powerful performances, KISS has proven for decades why their concerts are undeniably some of the most iconic live shows in the world of rock and roll. A Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and having sold over 100 million albums worldwide to date, KISS holds the record for the most gold records in all categories by an American band in the United States. As an unparalleled live act, they have continued to build a brilliant legacy throughout their 49-year career, breaking records with world tours.
