Queen's 50th Anniversary Original Album [Limited Edition] [2SHM-CD] "News of the World" (Original release year: 1977) A complete overhaul of the early musical style that peaked with the previous album. Shedding the European image, this sixth album steers towards a simple and straightforward direction, as if consciously targeting the punk rock that was just beginning to emerge. As a result, the credit that had been explicitly stated since their debut album, "not playing synthesizers," has also been removed. It includes "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions," which have now become anthems in various genres, transcending the boundaries of rock. The jacket artwork, created by the design group Cream, was conceived by Roger Taylor and features illustrations by science fiction artist Frank Kelly Fries. The bonus EP includes five tracks, including live recordings such as "We Will Rock You (Fast)" recorded at Seibu Lions Stadium on November 3, 1982, as well as BBC sessions and alternate takes of "Feelings Feelings."
