Contents: Everything about Norah. Her first live album and greatest hits compilation. A best-of live album featuring her "favorites" performed on stages around the world. Norah Jones, who released her first full-length original album in approximately four years, "Pick Me Up Off the Floor," in 2020 and topped the Oricon annual jazz album ranking, is releasing her first-ever live album. Nearly 20 years after the release of her debut album, she still enjoys immense popularity. After the release of "Pick Me Up Off the Floor," she had planned a world tour, but it was all canceled due to the impact of the coronavirus. Norah Jones regularly live-streamed from her home on social media, but this album was conceived to deliver a sense of presence to her fans during a time when it is difficult to hold live concerts. The tracks included are Norah's personal "favorites" from concerts held between 2017 and 2019, and feature performances from around the world, including the United States, France, Italy, Brazil, and Argentina. From tracks on her debut album "Come Away With Me," including her signature songs like "Don't Know Why" and "Come Away With Me," to "Begin Again" and "Flipside" from her 2019 concept album "Begin Again," this album features a wide range of songs spanning different release dates, making it truly a greatest hits compilation. The Japanese edition includes "Sunrise," which was performed during her 2017 Japan tour, as a bonus track. The album also features tracks that have never been included on an album before, such as "I'll Be Gone," which was digitally released in 2019 and featured a collaboration with gospel singer Mavis Staples, which was nominated for a Grammy Award; "Falling," a collaboration with Brazilian singer-songwriter Rodrigo Alamante; and "Black Hole Sun," a cover of a song dedicated to Chris Cornell of Soundgarden, a band that spearheaded the grunge movement of the 1990s. Furthermore, next year, 2022, will mark the 20th anniversary of the release of her legendary debut album, "Come Away With Me," which won eight Grammy Awards. It seems that Norah Jones is preparing to announce various content for next year, so we can look forward to even more from her in the future!
