"Ocean in a Drop" is inspired by the score written for the cult movie "Koyaanisqatsi," released in 1982. From the opening track "Timelapse City," which is impressive for its beautiful and moving worldview where various elements of GoGo Penguin pulse and fuse, to the bittersweet brilliance of "Nesas," the songs included are freed from conventional camerawork and scene composition, evoking a fresh, unparalleled energy and dramatic flow. "Ocean in a Drop," which was first performed on the studio live EP "Live at Abbey Road" in September 2016, has now been re-recorded in the studio and is included in this 5-track EP with 4 new songs.
