Inspired by this, Norah, who said she "listened to jazz albums that made me think, 'If only I could make an album like this,'" began working on this album on the piano in her kitchen after giving birth. "After releasing my first album, I definitely drifted away from the piano. I still played it, but I wanted to write on the guitar.
