Media Reviews and More: The original score written for the TV anime series that aired for six months starting in October 1971 and was rebroadcast numerous times, laying the foundation for the subsequent massive success of "Lupin the Third," has been newly recorded by his second son, Toru Yamashita. What's truly moving is that the vocals are by the original members. Charlie Kosei, who sings the opening theme song, has sung with such unchanging voice that you forget the passage of time. All tracks are in full length, allowing for a relaxed and enjoyable listening experience. While the later Lupin sound is undoubtedly "cool," the music of the old Lupin series also has a mature feel. (Haru Ikezaki) --- February 2002 Issue -- Contents (from "CD Journal Review"): The first series of "Lupin the Third," which was unheard of due to the loss of the master tape, is now available.
