Contents Beyond the historically significant album 'Y' -- A heavyweight dub album reconstructed with dub processing applied by original producer Dennis Bovell. A miraculous extreme music where madness and beauty intersect. 'Y (The Last Warning)', a post-punk masterpiece and historically controversial debut album released in 1979 by a band formed in Bristol, UK, led by the genius Mark Stewart. Its innovative and original sound, based on a punk attitude, blends funk, punk, and free jazz into a chaotic sound. Furthermore, the dub processing by producer Dennis Bovell elevates it to an extremely aggressive, angry, and frustrated, groundbreaking rebel music. In 2019, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of its release, the full scope of the album was thought to have been revealed with the compilation of the original album, unreleased tracks, and live recordings in "Y (The Final Warning) Definitive Edition." However, two years later, in 2021, Dennis Bovell, the original producer of "Y," created a new dub mix, revealing even the previously unseen sonic particles in detail, thus bringing the "Y" project to a close after 40 years.
