[Talking Heads] Emerging from the New York punk movement of the late 1970s. Centered around David Byrne (vocals, guitar), the band began activities in 1975 with Chris Frantz (drums) and Tina Weymouth (bass). Later, Jerry Harrison (keyboards, guitar) joined, and they made their album debut in 1977. In 1980, they released "Remain in Light," considered the pinnacle of their collaboration with Brian Eno. After the release of "Naked" in 1988, they went on hiatus. "Talking Heads Live" is a two-disc debut live album (1982) featuring recordings from a live performance shortly after their major label debut in 1977 and a large-scale stage performance held in Central Park, New York, after the release of "Remain in Light" in 1980.
