[Talking Heads] Emerging from the New York punk movement of the late 1970s. Centered around David Byrne (vocals, guitar), the band began activities in 1975 with Chris Frantz (drums) and Tina Weymouth (bass). Later, Jerry Harrison (keyboards, guitar) joined, and they made their album debut in 1977. In 1980, they released "Remain in Light," considered the pinnacle of their collaboration with Brian Eno. After the release of "Naked" in 1988, they went on hiatus. Fear of Music: This third album, released in 1979, introduces African beats, something no one had ever attempted before, and pursues creativity.
