Contents: The Black Keys' 10th studio album, "Delta Kream," features 11 standard numbers from Mississippi Hill Country Blues, their roots and a major influence. Mississippi Hill Country Blues is a type of blues music that originated in the Hill Country region of northern Mississippi, characterized by its repetitive, often "hypnotic," guitar riffs and drum-driven groove. The album includes songs by prominent artists of this genre, such as R. L. Burnside and Junior Kimbrough, as well as songs the band loved since their teens before forming. Recording began at Dan's Easy Eye Sound Studio in Nashville, with participation from Kenny Brown (G) and Eric Deaton (G), musicians who have played for many years in bands of blues legends such as R. L. Burnside and Junior Kimbrough. The album title, "Delta Kream," is derived from the iconic photograph taken by William Eggleston, considered one of the most important photographers of the late 20th century, which is also used for the album cover.
