Media Reviews and More: 11 previously unreleased live tracks recorded at a rare performance by Neil Young & the Stray Gators at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, USA on February 5, 1973, have now seen the light of day. Between touring with his close friends Crazy Horse and his solo work, Neil toured with the Stray Gators from 1971 to 1973. The renowned lineup of Tim Drummond (bass), Kenny Betley (drums), Jack Nitzsche (piano), and Ben Keith (steel guitar) can be heard playing on the classic albums "Harvest" and "Time Fade Away." This precious archival recording, "Tuscaloosa," features live versions of tracks from his debut self-titled album "Here We Are in the Years," released in 1969, as well as some of his signature songs from his early, most explosively selling albums, "After the Gold Rush" (1970) and "Harvest" (1972).
