In 2015, after completing a tour that lasted approximately two years, they recorded about half of the album in Los Angeles with Brian Howes, who produced their 2006 album "Comatose." In a first-of-its-kind collaboration, they recorded the remaining tracks in Nashville with Grammy Award-winning Seth Mosley, and in Las Vegas with Kevin Churko, who has worked with bands such as Five Finger Death Punch, Ozzy Osbourne, and Disturbed.
