Garden City Movement was formed in Tel Aviv, Israel in 2013 by Roi Avital (Vocals, Keyboards, Guitars), Joe Saar (Guitars, Sampler, Keyboards), and Johnny Sharoni (Vocals, guitars, Sampler, Percussion). This album combines the two EPs released in 2013 and 2014 with the latest single "SHE'S SO UNTOUCHABLE" and bonus tracks not included on physical releases, all supervised by the artist herself and presented in a unique Japanese album format. The sound is a masterful fusion of many elements, including a neo-soul sensibility reminiscent of James Blake, a stylishness like FKJ, the hypnotic and dreamy atmosphere of dream pop and chillwave, an electronica and beatmaker-like editing sense, and even flavors of trip-hop, AOR, and city pop.
