Product Description
The legendary Budokan concert, Day 2 (July 1st) ? now available in upgraded sound quality! Includes both Mono and Stereo versions from the latest remaster, along with detailed Japanese liner notes! 60 years ago, the miraculous Beatles' visit to Japan, and their historic Budokan concert. This is a permanent preservation edition featuring a complete recording of the July 1st performance, the second day of that concert! After an introduction by MC EH Eric, the four members appeared on a special stage and immediately launched into a thrilling performance of "Rock and Roll Music." They also performed their latest song, "Paperback Writer," and a rare electric version of the classic "Yesterday." On July 1st (the afternoon show), the band changed the key of their instruments from a half-step down the previous day back to standard, resulting in a brighter and sharper performance. The TV broadcast that night featured this afternoon performance. However, the master tapes were taken back by the Beatles, and to this day, only a few tracks have been released on albums like "Anthology." The remastered mono and stereo recordings from vintage masters are sure to impress even the most seasoned fans of this performance. Two versions of the standard edition (jewel case) will be released: the "June 30th" version and the "July 1st" version. JASRAC-licensed product.
