"The initial limited edition sold out. In response to requests for a re-release, a regular edition is now available." The mid-period masterpiece "Rubber Soul" sessions, upgraded and expanded edition! Thoroughly covers alternate versions, alternate mixes, outtakes and related songs, including the best stereo mix currently available that couldn't be fully covered by the current stereo mix. [Detailed 10,000-word, 12-page Japanese commentary booklet] This work is an expanded version of the well-received Eternal Grooves "The Beatles / Rubber Soul Sessions (EGDR-0210)," compiling outtakes and session recordings from the same period. In particular, the full album section is a "stereo version without bias in stereo positioning," which fans have been longing for, different from the "official stereo mix of 2009." The 1987 stereo mix used in the 2009 catalog remaster has many unnatural parts when listened to with modern ears, and it is true that some fans were disappointed. The biggest problem is the positioning of the lead vocals, which is too biased to the right. This tendency is particularly evident in songs that begin with vocals. For example, in "Girl," fans would naturally want John's voice, which begins with "Is There Anybody Going to Listen," to be prominently centered. This release includes all tracks from "Rubber Soul" in a natural stereo mix. You'll surely be satisfied with the excellent sound quality. Two singles from the same period are also included. In 1965, after successfully completing a massive stadium tour including Shea Stadium, the Beatles holed up in Abbey Road Studios and used new recording techniques to complete their masterpiece, "Rubber Soul." They faced the challenge at the last minute, with no stock of new songs. However, the environment that allowed them to concentrate solely on studio work for about a month awakened their creative power. Masterpiece after masterpiece was born. Having realized the significance of being able to immerse themselves in recording, the Beatles subsequently became more interested in studio work than live performances. This release thoroughly covers the complete, authentic stereo mix of the landmark album "Rubber Soul," along with alternate versions, mixes, outtakes, and related tracks. It's a 2-CD set, an expanded version of the popular "Rubber Soul Sessions." Includes detailed Japanese liner notes detailing the circumstances, anecdotes, and track listings from that time.
