It thoroughly traces the Beatles' journey through sound in chronological order, including officially recorded studio recordings, unreleased outtakes and songs that have not been officially released. Volume 4 covers the final stages of the sessions for the album "A Hard Day's Night," where the theme song "A Hard Day's Night" was created at the last minute, the day after the movie title was decided. They then went on to complete songs like "Today's Promise," "Anytime at All," and others, finishing the album. In the end, all the songs were original compositions. On June 3rd, the day before their world tour, Ringo was hospitalized with tonsillitis, so the three of them hastily rehearsed with substitute Jimmy Nicol in the studio. This led to the recording of George's new song "You Know What To Do" (which ultimately remained unreleased), and also includes a recording of Cilla Black's "It's For You" (written by Lennon and McCartney), a song by a serious female singer, which Paul recorded with piano accompaniment, after returning to England from the world tour. From August, sessions for the album "For Sale" began. They revisited the personalities that their global popularity had stripped them of, recording introspective tracks like "I'm a Loser," the groundbreaking "Baby's in Black," and the authentic R&B number "She's a Woman," among others, including the single "I Feel Fine." For some reason, John's powerful shout on "Leave My Kitten Alone" was never included on the album and was shelved. Even so, the sheer power of the Beatles to complete so many masterpieces and excellent songs, even though production began just one month after their previous album, is truly astonishing.
