(Includes Japanese liner notes/obi strip; media reviews, etc.) Klezmarish is a group formed by four musicians: Concettina del Vecchio, a female musician from L'Aquila in central Italy who plays piano, accordion, and violin; Tomas Verity, a clarinetist; Marcel Becker, who plays double bass; and Rob Chevre, who plays guitar, violin, and vocals. While their group name means "in the style of Klezmer," all four are actually members of the prestigious Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in the UK, where they usually perform as staunch classical musicians. This album sees them stepping out of their large orchestras and embracing various musical genres head-on, as if freely traveling the world. They brilliantly perform Klezmer, Tango, and Gypsy Swing!
