Super-powerful singer "Metal Beauty," Martha Gabriel, has finally launched her own band, "Leather Witch," after the breakup of Crystal Viper! ! Although they were unable to tour Japan, Crystal Viper, a Polish orthodox metal band familiar to Japanese metal fans through numerous domestic releases by Rubicon Music, announced their shocking disbandment six months ago. Martha Gabriel (Vo), who undertook solo performances in Japan in place of the band, has returned to the forefront of the scene! This new project, "Leather Witch," embodies the steely soul of Martha, the absolute frontwoman of the band, and elevates her old stage name into the band name! ! In May 2025, after Crystal Viper's lead guitarist suffered an injury following their planned tour to Japan, Martha Gabriel performed her first solo tour in Japan. Since then, she has continued solo tours and guest/support activities, but now she has finally returned with her own band! In the fall, after 20 years of activity and the release of 9 albums, Crystal Viper, a pure metal band from Poland that had garnered many fans, decided to disband and started a new band (project) where she plays all the parts (vocals, guitar, bass, drums) herself, driven by a newfound initial impulse! This album features only guitar solos, played by Crystal Viper's last guitarist, Giuseppe Taormina, and Ginoir, also known as Tomohiro Hagi, guitarist of SABBAT and METALUCIFER! Marta says of this relaunch, "The disbandment of CRYSTAL VIPER does not mean the end of my musical journey, but rather the complete opposite, literally a 'new beginning'." Calling herself a "witch in leather," Marta casts her first spell on the fans, delivering a collection of passionate metal songs that maintain the Crystal Viper style! The mix was handled by Olof Wikstrand, the mastermind behind ENFORCER, one of the pinnacles of modern traditional metal.
