Metal Church has released their 14th studio album, their first in three years since 2023's "Congrecation Of Annihilation"! Founded in 1982 by Kurt Vanderhoof (guitar), the band debuted with their 1984 debut album, "Metal Church." Despite two periods of stagnation and various twists and turns, they have established an unshakeable position as a leading force in US metal over 44 years. This latest album is a masterpiece created with a significant lineup change, revitalizing the band and aiming for new glory! According to Kurt, "The band was thought to be dead, but miraculously came back to life." In 2025, David Ellefson (bass) joined, replacing Steve Unger, but former drummer Stet Howland (formerly of W.A.S.P.) and singer Mark Lopez, who joined the band for the previous album, both left the band. The band has welcomed seasoned drummer Ken Mary (Fifth Angel, Flotsam and Jetsam, etc.) and added former Vicious Rumors vocalist Brian Allen, resulting in a formidable lineup! The new album they created is this one, "Dead To Rights." Fans who have been eagerly awaiting new music have been delighted with the previously released track "F.A.F.O," a fantastic song packed with 100% Metal Church-esque ferocity that will thrill fans.
