Since their album debut in 1988, ALIEN, a leading figure in Scandinavian melancholic melodic HR/HM, has enjoyed immense support in Europe and Japan. With their 40th anniversary just around the corner, they are releasing their 8th album in 5 years, following the worldview of their masterpiece debut album! Formed in 1986, centered around Tony Borg (guitar) and Jim Zidhead (vocals), the band signed with Virgin Scandinavia and their cover of The Marbles' "Only One Woman" became a huge hit from their pre-release single, leading to the production of their debut album. In 1988, they released their debut album "Alien," captivating fans of beautiful melodies around the world and quickly solidifying their position. After experiencing member changes, the band released four more albums before going on hiatus. In 2010, Tony, Jim, and original members Ken Sandin (bass), Jimmy Wandoroff (keyboards), and Toby Tullack (drums) reunited. After various twists and turns, they have released seven original albums to date. And now, five years after 2020's "Into The Future," they have completed this new album! Titled "When Yesterday Comes Around," the album artwork, featuring an ice mountain, evokes the world of their debut album. The songs, primarily composed by Tony and Jim, are a wonderful blend of lyrical melodies and melancholic tunes that will bring tears to the eyes of long-time fans!
