Product Description
The unchanging blade of British heavy metal cuts through even after 40 years! Tokyo Blade delivers a new album that shows they're still going strong, their first since 2022's "Fury"! In 1983, amidst the heavy metal craze in Britain, they called themselves TOKYO BLADE and released their excellent debut album "Tokyo Blade," followed by their masterpiece second album "Night Of The Blade," which brought them into the spotlight. However, by the time they released their third album, the N.W.O.B.H.M. boom had ended, with the exception of a few major bands that made great strides. The band went through various twists and turns, including member changes and uncertainty about their direction, before temporarily ceasing activities in 1998. However, in 2007, the band reformed with the four original members, centered around guitarist Andy Boulton, and in 2011 released the new album "Thousand Men Strong" featuring a new vocalist, marking their full return to the scene. Subsequently, original vocalist Alan Marsh returned, and with the same complete lineup as in their heyday in the '80s, they continued to release albums consistently, including "Unbroken" in 2018, "Dark Revolution" in 2020, and "Fury" in 2022. And now, in 2025, they have completed their 11th album overall (not including "Ain't Misbehavin'..." from 1987 and "No Remorse" from 1989), "Time Is The Fire," with the same unchanging 5 members: Alan, Andy, John Wiggins (guitar), Andy Righton (bass), and Steve Pierce (drums)! Even after 40 years, they deliver British heavy metal that remains unchanged! Alan's vocals and Andy and John's twin guitars shine with undiminished brilliance, making this a masterpiece!
