Product Description
From Magnum, the treasures of British rock, comes a deeply moving release featuring Tony Clarkin's (g) final live performance! Tony Clarkin (g), the band's founder and leader, passed away just five days before the release of their 24th album, "Here Comes The Rain," in January 2024. This release captures the incredibly rare official live performance held in Wolverhampton, England, on December 10, 2022, the final day of Magnum's European tour, which turned out to be Tony Clarkin's last show before his death! After his passing, the band initially announced their disbandment. However, Bob Catley (vo), an original member who led the band alongside Tony, and the band reunited to commemorate Tony and announced a UK tribute tour titled "A Passage in Time, A Tribute to Tony Clarkin." Brendan Riley, who served as Tony's guitar technician for many years, will play lead guitar in his place. Other members, Rick Benton (key), Dennis Ward (b), and Lee Morris (dr), remain unchanged. This album, "Live At KK?fS Steel Mill," is being released to coincide with the tour. The same venue has also been announced as the final stop on Tony's UK tribute tour in January. The album is a double LP and contains 15 tracks in total, including the three powerful encore songs "Kingdom Of Madness," "On A Storyteller?fs Night," and "Sacred Hour." First of all, let's wish them success on their UK tour in January 2025, and we sincerely hope they continue their activities afterward!
