Product Description
The 24th and final studio album by British rock legend Magnum is now released in Japan with a DVD! Tony Clarkin (guitar), who passed away on January 7th, just before the release of Magnum's 24th album, "Hear Comes The Rain," in the UK on January 12th, 2024, was a true embodiment of Magnum. He supported the band from their debut alongside Bob Catley (vocals), creating all of their songs. In December 2023, Tony announced he had a spinal condition, and the band canceled their planned tour to focus on treatment, when the news of his sudden death arrived. Released just over a year after 2022's "The Monster Roars," this album is a masterpiece filled with the melancholic and dynamic songs characteristic of Magnum's earlier work, making it hard to believe it was their last album. Bob Catley's legendary vocal performance is just as superb as on their previous albums. Tony's strong desire to constantly evolve his music is reflected in this exquisite piece, which exudes depth. The band's lineup is impressive, with members other than Tony and Bob including Rick Benton (key), who joined in 2016, replacing Mark Steinway, and Lee Morris (dr), who joined in 2017, and Dennis Ward (b), who became a band member in 2019. After Tony's death, Bob and the band initially announced their disbandment, but later retracted that and announced a UK tour in 2025 to commemorate Tony. Will the Magnum legend continue as "THE SHOW MUST GO ON"? Bob says he doesn't know what the future holds. Track list 1. Run Into The Shadows 5:22 2. Here Comes The Rain 4:37 3.
