Bob Catley announced the dissolution of Magnum in 2024 following the death of their cornerstone, Tony Clarkin, but after completing the Avantasia tour, he reconsidered and decided to tour the UK again as Magnum in January 2025 for the fans and in memory of Tony. Bob Catley, still going strong, has collaborated with Gary Hughes (TEN) on his 1999 masterpiece, *Legends*, just like his first solo album, *The Tower* (1998) (re-released in September 2024). This new 1999 album includes bonus live tracks and a revised cover by Rodney Matthews! The bonus tracks, like the previous release, are three tracks from the official bootleg "Live At Gods": "Dreams," "Scream," and "Far Away," allowing listeners to enjoy the passionate performance from that time. As with the previous album, this album was written and produced by Gary Hughes of TEN, who also supported Bob as a player (keyboards). The other member is Vinnie Burns of TEN, who also played on the previous album, and you can enjoy his exquisite, melancholic guitar playing. This album features TEN bassist Steve McKenna's first guest appearance, making it almost entirely TEN, and replaces Greg Morgan on drums with John Cooksey of the British melodic hard rock band Dante Fox. The tracks include "Shelter From The Night," "Hydra," "The Light," and many other excellent songs that are just as impressive as the previous album!
