Davide Skuteli, the composer/keyboardist who showcased his talent with Ravenword (2020), has finally launched a new band! RAVENWORD, which released the album "Transcendence" (RBNCD-1298) as a one-off project featuring former TEMPERANCE member Chiara Tricalico, garnered significant acclaim for its polished symphonic melodic metal sound, but sadly ended its activities as promised. Now, Davide Skuteli (key), leader/composer of RAVENWORD, has launched a new band, LAY OF AUTUMN! For this band, Davide has newly recruited Irina Boyarkina, a blonde beauty singer from Ukraine! She is a talented individual who performs with the band MYSTERYA in Ukraine while also appearing on numerous TV programs as a solo artist. Her exceptional vocals, combined with the lyrical and symphonic compositions created by Davide, are a major draw of this album. The other members, including Davide, are all the same as those in RAVENWORD: Cesare Ferrari (bass), Davide Rovecchio (guitar), and Michele Olmi (drums), making this album something of a 2024 updated version of Ravenword. The songs are in the style of symphonic metal, but include tracks that feature a blend of technical and lyrical elements, resulting in a collection of songs primarily featuring virtuoso performances.
