Metal Church releases a full live album capturing Mike Howe's final Japanese performance of 2019! The complete two-disc set is exclusive to the Japanese edition! Last year, Metal Church, with new vocalist Mark Lopez, released their first original album in five years, "Congregation of Annihilation," through Rubicon Music, marking a magnificent comeback. Now, a live album is being released as a tribute to Mike Howe, the band's former vocalist, who sadly passed away in 2021 at the young age of 55. This album fully captures his final Japanese performance at CLUB CITTA during the "Damned If You Do" tour in 2019. The setlist truly represents the best of Metal Church! Mike's vocals and performance, along with the powerful playing of Kurt Vanderhoof (guitar), Rick Van Zand (guitar), Steve Unger (bass), and Stet Howland (drums), are all in top form! This memorial live album, which celebrates Mike's great legacy and expresses gratitude to the Japanese fans who have supported Metal Church for so long, is only complete overseas when it includes the 14 tracks from the main album plus 2 tracks released digitally. However, the Rubicon Music version restores the track order to the order it was performed on the day (mainly the 25th), and of course, places the bonus tracks in their correct positions, resulting in a complete live album exceeding 90 minutes. Furthermore, it includes Mike Howe's studio takes (mixes not released in Japan) as a bonus.
