Heavy metal revival! Finnish power metal band METAL DE FACTO releases their long-awaited second album! Formed in 2017 in Helsinki, Finland by former DREAMTALE member Esa Oljatzalo (guitar) and ENSIFERUM member Sami Hinka (bass), METAL DE FACTO is a 100% pure power metal band. This is their first new album in four years since their 2019 debut album, "Imperium Romanum" (RBNCD-1296)! Their debut album, with the goal of "Make Power Metal Great Again!", stunned the scene with its grand songs based on various creation myths and based on the concept of the Roman Empire. The album generated a lot of buzz in the scene, but live activities were suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic that swept the world. In 2022, when the pandemic finally subsided, vocalist Mikael Salo, who had become the face of the band, left the band. The band has joined forces with a new, promising Spanish vocalist, Aitor Arastia, marking the start of their second chapter. Aitor's phenomenal vocals on this album are a powerful promise for the band's bright future. The album's theme revolves around Japanese culture and history, which the band deeply loves. From the beginning of the Amaterasu myth to the Mongol invasions, Bushido, and the Forty-Seven Ronin, it's "Chapter One of the Journey Through the Land of the Rising Sun." In other words, they will be creating two albums on this theme. Leader Sami confidently states, "This album will uphold the band's tradition and is a timeless, powerful album that will captivate listeners with power metal. To make power metal great again!" The long-awaited lead single, "Code Of The Samurai," was released in the fall of 2023 to great acclaim, and the album will finally be released in February 2024!
