Content Introduction The original soundtrack for the latest TV anime series, "Ghost in the Shell," is set to be released! Since Masamune Shirow published the original comic in "Young Magazine Special Edition: Pirate Edition" (Kodansha) in 1989, the "Ghost in the Shell" series has continued to surprise and inspire the world with various works, including Mamoru Oshii's "GHOST IN THE SHELL" (1995), animation, and Hollywood live-action films. The release of the original soundtrack for the latest TV anime series, "Ghost in the Shell," has been decided! The music director is Taisei Iwasaki, who won the Japan Academy Prize for Best Music for the film "The Dragon and the Freckled Princess" and also composed the music for the currently released film "TOKYO Taxi." The music is a collaboration between Taisei Iwasaki, Ryo Konishi (who served as the music director for the opening ceremony of the 2025 Osaka-Kansai World Expo, and has worked on music for numerous theatrical productions and dramas, as well as sound production for artists such as Chara+YUKI, Mrs.GREEN APPLE, and TOMOO), and YUKI KANESAKA, who is based in the United States and recently worked on the music for the TV anime "Dr.STONE." The soundtrack will be released in two formats: a 2-CD set and a 2LP vinyl record. The first pressing of the CD will come in special packaging.
